Bike sharing has become a popular method of transportation and recreational activity within major metropolitan areas. While public bikes can sometimes seem a commodity provided by city for its residence, it is in fact a business that needs to make a profit to operate with paying customers.
In order to to discover what contributes to a succesful biker sharing operation, I have used tabluau to analyze data from citibike, a leading bike-sharing company in the U.S.
Tableau is powerful software and resource to create vivid and interactive visualtions. The visualziations which includes area and heat maps, can assist in highlighting trends and key metrics.
